We all love our mamas and want to treat them on Mother’s Day but what do you get them? If they’re anything like my mum & nan then they’ll say they don’t want or anything, or that they don’t need anything. I’m just as bad though when the hubby asks me!Well I’m not having that, it’s nice for them to have a treat, something just for them (or us!) so I’ve put together some Mother’s Day gift ideas, this one is the healthy & beauty edition full of lot’s if lovely treats for mamas.
If they are on a health kick or love their gadgets then the Nutribullet 1200 series is perfect. We’ve just got this and I can not wait to try it out. I’m sure the teenager will be wanting lot’s of milkshakes & smoothies but it’s only the healthy ones for the hubby & I.
Since getting back into running after my spinal op I’ve got my eye on the Buddy Pouch. I do have an arm band and a bum bag but they just don’t work for me anymore. I go to the gym during the day when the boys are at school so need to take my phone & keys with me. The Buddy Pouch just sits over the waistband of you trouser so not bag banging about, or having to keep your keys in your pocket, it’s fab!
A Wellness OTeas Gift Box could be perfect for the mama that’s trying to look after herself, or wants a change from normal tea. With a gift box there’s so many different teas to try, from energizing to recovery, I’m looking forward to trying these out.
Not all mums would be best pleased with receiving anti wrinkle creams but I think it’s such a lovely idea. Not saying my beautiful mum looks old but we should be using the right creams for our skin. I can spot a few fine lines around my eyes and on my forehead so a little help goes a long way!
A lovely long, hot bath is a perfect way to relax & unwind after a mamas busy day, so the Buddhi Bath by Chris James Mind Body is a great way to unwind. This unique blend of penetrating Himalayan salt, and detoxifying organic essential oils, not only softens your skin, and soothes tired muscles, but also replenishes and rejuvenates your mind, body and spirit.
If you think they would perfer a treat for the hair rather than for the skin then the new Phil Smith range exclusinvely at Sainsburys is a winner. The Be Gorgeous Total Treat Argan Oil & Phil Smith Be Gorgeous Glam Shine are such lovely products. They leave the hair looking fab and smell amazing too.
How about the mama that’s into her nails? She would love the Mavala Nail Care & Beauty Set. It has some amazing products within the gift box to become a part of your beauty regime. It includes six fantastic products for your manicure.
Ok maybe inflicting pain on yourself isn’t for everyone but I get such a sense of satisfaction from epilating. The new Braun Silk Epil 9 SkinSpa is much more gentle than the old style of epilator which felt like a torture device. It has pulsating vibrations for an extra gentle epilation. It’s a four in one that exfoliates and shaves sensitive areas too.
And last but not least are the beautiful bath & body products from Button & Wilde. They offer full customisation so you have them personalised or have a special message on the bottle. So not only are they beautifully smelling and luxurious but they are super cute too.
What are you getting your mama or nana for Mother’s Day, or what would be on the list for you?
