Eeeek it’s nearly December! The next few weeks are all about trying to make as many meals out the food we already have in the two freezers and the pantry. We’re having family here for Christmas dinner so I need to make space for the big food shop.
We’re also completely overhauling the kitchen before Christmas too so I want to give the pantry a make over too, lot’s of nice new storage and completely organised. That means I need to have a huge clearout and go through all those boxes and packets at the back!
I’ll be filming a pantry organisation video for YouTube as I’m doing Vlogmas this year, filming a festive video every a day leading up to Christmas so if you don’t already subscribe to my channel then head over now so you don;t miss anything.
Anyhoo, onto the week’s meal plan and it’s a bit of a random one as we’re using up as much as we can!
Still on a brew and a bowl of porridge, it’s winter and I need to warm up after the school run.
Homemade soups, jacket potatoes & salads to stay gluten free
- Pie, mash & peas
- Chicken & bacon risotto
- Beef stir fry using any veg left in the fridge
- Pasta bake using up left over veg & cheese
- Homemade pizzas
- Oven baked ‘Southern Fried’ Chicken & potato wedges
- Lamb Hotpot
