The Silver Cross Surf has always been a popular pram but they have taken it further with the brand new Silver Cross Surf 3. The latest version of the Surf is a unique multi terrain pram that transforms easily from 4-wheel city mode to 3-wheel trekking mode.
The Surf 3 comes with a choice of wheel configurations, as it comes with a large third wheel yo easily convert the buggy from four wheels to take it all terrain. I think this is such a fab feature, I know a few times we’ve been out walking and have really struggled with uneven ground with a four wheeled buggy. There’s been so many times I wanted a more robust three wheeler but just didn’t want to spend the money on an extra buggy.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE BOX?
The Surf Chassis – This comes in either graphite or silver. For me it’s got to be the graphite, I just love the dark grey finish. The chassis folds pretty small and the wheels can be removed to make it easier to store.
The Seat Unit – The seat unit has the standard three position recline including a completely flat position for when the little one needs a little snooze. It’s great that it can also be front or parent facing, like most parents I like to have baby parent facing when they are still little.
Newborn Carrycot – I just love the look of this carrycot, it looks so sturdy and is suitable for overnight sleeping too.
The Trekking Wheel – I think this is an absolute genius addition to the buggy. I love the idea of being able to convert the buggy to your needs.
Hood & Apron pack – The hood & apron can be used on both the pushchair & the carrycot which is fab.
Raincover – This comes with a fitted raincover which we definitely need with our British weather.
Shopping Basket – The basket folds cleverly with the frame, it doesn’t look the biggest but it is deep.
Simplicity Car Seat Adapters – You can turn the buggy into a travel system by adding the car seat.
The new Surf 3 looks like such a great buggy and I love the new colours that have been brought out too. I think I’d still be tempted on the sand or grey version as they just look so stylish but it’s great to have a choice of colours. Vintage Blue and Vintage Red would be a very close second though even though I know the hubby would insist on the red one!
