OUR WEEKLY MEAL PLAN | 5TH SEPT & MY FIRST GROCERY HAUL VIDEO

Our weekly meal plan featuring healthy, gluten free & slimming world friendly meals for the family

This week’s meal plan is a little different, instead of just listing our meals I’ve also filmed our weekly grocery shop too.

I’ve got to admit it felt a bit weird filming the food I’ve bought this week but I’ve found myself watching more & more of these grocery shopping hauls on YouTube getting inspiration for our weekly meal plans and for Archie’s packed lunches for when he starts school next week. So I thought I’d try it out myself and see what my readers & viewers think :).

So, this is what we’ll be eating this week:

BREAKFAST

Porridge, porridge & more porridge, again. It really keeps me full until lunch without being tempted to snack so I’m sticking to it. If it gets warmer this week like predicted then it’ll be overnight oats instead.

LUNCH

Homemade soups, jacket potatoes & salads to stay gluten free. I always start veering towards soups when the weather gets a bit colder.

DINNER
  • Chicken burgers with salad as requested by the hubby
  • Spicy pork casserole with roasted cauliflower
  • Salmon & brocolli risotto
  • Spag bol with GF pasta for me
  • Sausage & mash
  • Chilli with jacket potatoes
  • Roast beef dinner with Slimming World roast veg

Do you meal plan or think it will be something you want to start? I’ve definitely started spending less on food shopping since I started buying exactly what what we need.

Let me know what you think about the grocery shopping video below? Should I continue to do the every week?

Your dinners this week look virtually the same as ours! And I absolutely cant believe how reasonable your shop was – under £50!… well done you. I’m super inspired to see how organised you are.
And love the video too … its always nice to put a voice to a blog!

Thanks Anna. It makes such a difference when you only buy what you need for your meal plan. I used to spend a fortune and still struggle to put together meals for the week
