After my recent back operation I have to take some time off from the gym and exercise in general, but only for a few more weeks. I can’t wait to get back active, but I have to take my time and build up to it. There’s no way I can throw myself straight back to weights or hitting the treadmill like I used to.
Looking back through 100 years of fitness in 100 seconds has given me some great ideas, back in the 1910’s & 20’s gentle exercises were thought to be perfect workout and that’s where I’m starting out ( although maybe not quite in the same gym attire) before moving onto yoga & Pilates again, I’ll be back to Zumba before you know it.
You’ve got to have a look at this video to see how things have really changed through the years, the 70’s Jazzercise & 80’s aerobics really need to make a come back and the 40’s? Just wow.
