Being a blogger.... what blogging means to me @gymbunnymum

Recently things have been pretty crazy in the blogging world of Gym Bunny Mummy. I’ve been getting a lot of work offers, my brain is going crazy with blog post ideas, there’s so much change & progress with Archie’s Autism Journey that I want to blog about. Blogging has literally taken over this past few weeks!

I’ve been tagged by the lovely Life With Baby Kicks to write down what being a blogger means to me to me so here goes…

Being a Blogger is…. downright amazing! I’ve received so much support through Archie’s Autism Journey from other bloggers, I don’t know how I would have coped with you all.

Being a Blogger is…. helping others. I was blown away when people started commenting & emailing me about how writing about our experiences with Autism has helped.

Being a Blogger is…. taking photos at every opportunity just in case.  My phone gallery consists of loads of random photos like the one of the iron and the one of my lunch.

Being a Blogger is…. spending far too much time on social media & calling it work. Sometimes it is work but most of the time I’m just being nosy!

Being a Blogger is…. having some fab work opportunities, I never imagined I could build a career out of blogging

Being a Blogger is….  always wanting to better, to keep improving my blog, my photography & my writing

Being a Blogger is…. constantly learning. Learning about the technical side of blogging, learning about the creative side, just constantly learning something new everyday

Being a Blogger is….  becoming a social media addict.  Facebook, Twitter, InstagramI have accounts on them all and I always look for strategies to increase followers and engagement.

Being a Blogger is….  building my confidence. I was terrified before Britmums Live but I was so shocked at how many people recognised me & my blog. This is has given me so much more confidence to keep moving forward with my blog.

Being a Blogger is….
being me. I’ve really found my happy place through blogging. I’ve met some incredible people, some in real life, some only online but I know there’s always someone out there whenever I need a shoulder, some advice or to just share an amazing moment.

I’m glad that Life with Baby Kicks tagged me & I want you to pass the tag on.

All you need to do now is write the post (and let the world know where it came from) and tag as many people as you like letting them know by giving them a shout out on social media.

Let’s see how far we can get this.

I tag the following amazing bloggers to do their #beingablogger post

Jane from Our Little Escapades
Ally from Messed Up Mum
Martyn from Inside Martyn’s Thoughts
Lisa from Mrs Savage Angel

And anyone else who wants to join in

Looking forward to reading your posts on what #beingablogger means to you.

Love this, I think that being a blogger is worth the effort. I get such a buzz from knowing that people are reading (albeit the few that do!) and enjoying my writing. 🙂 #BigFatLinky xx

Haha! I totally agree about ‘spending too much time on social media and calling it work’!! LOL!

Initially my husband thought I was just time wasting, but as my blog has started to grow — and great opportunities are starting to happen — he now understands that it’s all part and parcel of blogging 🙂 I absolutely LOVE it 🙂 Thanks so much for linking up with #TwinklyTuesday — hope to see you again next week! x
