I’ve been loving finding my style recently. I can’t believe I’ve taken so long to actually have the balls to just wear whatever I want.I do realise how ridiculous that sounds. I’m 37 years old & have always
Eeek I’m now 37 years old
The best thing about getting older is the confidence that comes with it. I’m getting braver & finding that I’m able to wear what I want when I want without worrying what people might think. Although I still need to work on my posing, I feel a bit of an idiot standing in doorways but I’m getting there.
It’s ridiculous that I even held myself back fashion & style wise because I just didn’t have the balls to put on clothes. Instead I stuck to my boring mum uniform of leggings & a t-shirt.
So roll on 40, I’ll never say I’m on the wrong side of 35 ever again!
I’m loving this cardi I was gifted from JD Williams, I’m a huge fan of stripes anyway & as boring as some people think, black & grey are two of my favourite colours.
I love how easy it is to wear. I can rock it with a dress & my docs for brunch or throw it over a t-shirt & jeans for a more casual look. This is the first time I’ve worn it with a waist syncing belt & I’ll definitely be wearing it a belt again. It just draws that waist in rather than it being a baggy or straight down look.
I love the shape of it & how it’s curved at the hemline, plus anything with pockets is a win for me.
I’m also loving my docs, I’ve always wanted a pair but just didn’t think they would suit me plus I had no idea how to style Dr Martens but they go with everything. I’m actually writing a blog post on styling them so watch out fot that one coming up.
How would you style this cardigan? Do you wear a belt or leave it open?
