Until we’ve saved enough to convert our loft for the teenager, the toddler is staying in our room. Luckily we’ve got a huge bedroom so we’re in the process of creating Archie a separate ‘bedroom area’ using partition furniture so I’m on the hunt for grey & yelow toddler bedroom inspiration.

We’re decorating the whole room and I just love the grey & yellow combo. It’s beautiful colour scheme both for an adult bedroom & for a toddler so the two separate spaces will combine well. I really don’t want a distinct toddler area but I still want him to have his own space and I think this will definitely achieve that.

What do you think of this colour scheme? I can’t wait to share the end result

We’re in a similar situation. Elodie (7 months) is still in our room b/c we haven’t finished our attic room. We’re having to do a lot of the work ourselves. Unfortunately we don’t have the money to pay someone to do it for us and it’s taking forever.

I love your colour choices. I have yellow and grey through a lot of our house. Don’t know what it is about grey, but I can’t get enough! Xx

I think grey and yellow is a lovely combination. It’s warm but relaxing. I agree, it works well for adults and children. It’s not overly ‘toddlers’ so you can make it feel like an adult space too. I love the chevron cushions, in particular. They’d work great for a living room too.

These colours are so gorgeous together and would make such a stunning room! Zach stayed in our room until he was 2 and then we finally bought a house with a second bedroom! It was so weird not having him in our room for a while gut we’ve got used to it now hehe! #HomeEtc

I love yellow and grey, it’s so on trend and cheerful, and I especially love the mix of patterns – polka dots and zig zags – it works so well. We shared our room with Tyler until he was 2, and I used to make his side of the room the seaside corner! Can’t wait to see the finished room 🙂 #HomeEtc

We have grey and yellow in a couple of our living areas. The yellow we’ve used is more chartreuse though, rather than a fresh clean yellow. I LOVE this combination. It’s so restful. I so look forward to seeing the finished result! Excited to see what you end up doing! Thanks so much for linking up with #HomeEtc x
