Normally my smoothie maker only ever came out of the back of the pantry for ‘cocktail night’, I know, I know naughty! But I’m being good now & trying to get my backside back into shape, I’ve had a few weeks off with a bad back plus with all the mayhem of ‘the toddler’ & his Autism the gym has taken a back step and a bit of comfort eating has crept in.
Now I’m officially back on the wagon I thought I’d share my favourite morning smoothie, I tend to make a double batch minus the coffee then The Teenager can take one to drink on the way to school then I can add a spoonful of coffee for my morning caffeine hit!
Here’s the dead simple Iced Coffee & Banana Smoothie recipe, enjoy!
- 1 banana
- ½ pint of skimmed milk
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsb
- handful of ice
- Chop the banana the pop all the ingredients in the blender & enjoy!
