Happy New Year!! Ok I know it’s the 7th January but this is the first Recipe Round Up linky since the Christmas break. It’s week 8 of the link up & I’m loving catching up on all your posts & yummy recipes. It’s had a little overhaul since it used to be called #SundayKitchen but I felt that didn’t really say exactly what kind of link party it was, hence the need for a change. The round up is for any foodie type blog posts, such as recipes, meal plans, restaurant reviews, anything food wise is welcome.
Plus this week I’m excited to introduce you to my new co-host, the lovely Deborah from Country Heart and Home who is an amazing baker, and has her own business like me. I’m a cake decorator, although since blogging has taken over my life my sister now runs the business. Deborah has Frills & Fondant which was created to take the dessert table/candy bar to anyone who would like it!
For anyone that doesn’t know what a linky is, a linky or link party is for a group of bloggers to share like minded posts, such as my Recipe Round Up. It’s great for fellow bloggers as they can share their favourite posts with more people but it’s also great for our readers as they get to see a wider range of posts from one place, so win win.
I’m loving sharing more food related posts on the blog, from Slimming World recipes to family friendly meals, plus the odd cake decorating tutorial too. This week I’m sharing our meal plan from Monday which should give you a few ideas for next week, plus it’s all healthy & Slimming World Friendly. I’m also sharing my favourite Slimming World recipe which people have been loving, plus a new soup recipe I posted this week.
So feel free to link up two of your posts, old or new that feature anything food related such as recipes, goodies you’ve baked, even ones you’ve linked before if you think they need a little extra exposure. It can be something as simple as a quick mid week meal or a special birthday cake you made, basically anything that is food related.
THE RULES ARE SO SIMPLE:
- You can link up to three posts each week, just add the #RecipeRoundUp badge to each post by copying and pasting the code into your blog post
- Please comment on at least one HOST post & one other link to share the love
- Please share the post via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #RecipeRoundUp I will RT all links if you mention me in your tweets (@thismamablogs)
