You won’t find many bright colours in my wardrobe, black or grey are my usual go to colours. Plus a pair of jeans! But I’ve been pushing my boundaries to try & find my style & break away from my mum uniform.
I‘m not one of those bloggers that has lot’s of cash to splash on big clothing hauls or designer brands. I’m just a regular mum who loves a good charity shop or the high street. It’s taken me almost 38 years but I’ve finally found the confidence to wear what I want to wear. You need to read this post if you’re struggling with your self confidence.
This bright red blazer was actually from a charity shop. It’s vintage St Michael, good old Marks & Spencer’s. I do love vintage clothing.
My style is definitely a little bit vintage, a little bit grunge.
It looks as though it was a bit of an old lady jacket with little ships on the buttons. Way back when, M&S wasn’t no where near trendy as it is now. It really was somewhere your nan shops but I adore this blazer so much. You can pick up some total bargains in a charity shop, and you never know what will be in store so it’s great to just head out to your local shops every week or so.
Because of the cheap prices, I’ve picked up some pieces I would never normally buy. It’s made me be a bit braver in my style, if something catches your eye & its only a coupe of quid then you are much more likely to give it a go.
