Our weekly slimming world meal plan, lot's of meal ideas and syn free meal options

I’m a little late with this week’s Slimming World meal plan, but it was Bank Holiday Monday yesterday and we were out for a meal as we were taking our teenager shopping for his birthday. I can’t believe that this time week I’ll have a sixteen year old!

Last week was my first proper time at my Slimming World group after failing miserably at doing it myself online. Well it was a total disaster as I did lose some weight but I was really struggling with motivation hence why I decided to join a group. So have a nosy at my first SW diary to see how I got on.

I’ve got from today until Friday morning to be really strict with myself as we were at a festival this weekend and I drank far too much cider, but I did do a lot of dancing so hopefully it won’t totally ruin it for me this week!

Anyway, onto this week’s meal plan

I’ve been getting pretty bored with just fruit & yogurt for breakfast but I don’t want to use up both my healthy extra a & b on cereal, plus I’m not a fan of toast so instead I’ve been making myself slimming world friendly overnight oats instead. It’s a super simple syn free recipe which is a bonus, and I’ve just added to my Slimming World recipe section on the blog. Plus you can make it in so many different flavours and add different fruits to up your speed foods too.

This is the one I’ve struggled with. I’ve gotten into the habit of not bothering to cook just for myself, and as I work from home I’ll tend to just snack throughout the day. I’m making sure I have lot’s of lunch options that are super quick, plus lot’s of leftovers in the freezer ready to microwave.

I normally use my Healthy Extra A for my milk for my cups of teas but I’m trying to drink more green tea, so I’ll still have my A choice for meals.

    • Homemade SW Leek & Potato soup (Syn Free)
    • Homemade fishcakes with SW friendly wedges & salad (1 1/2 Syns per serving)
    • King prawn prawn stir fry (Syn Free)
    • SW spiced chicken with sweet potato wedges & salad (1 1/2 Syns per serving)
    • Homemade chicken chow main (1/2 Syn per serving)
    • Homemade SW chicken, ham & mushroom pie (3 1/2 Syns per serving)

Have a nosy at my Slimming World loss diaries to see how I’m getting on. Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel for more updates.
