I don’t even know where to start with this week’s Slimming World meal plan, this weekend has been a disaster syn wise. I couldn’t even tell you how many syns I’ve had but it’s a ridiculous amount!
We went out to a gig on Friday night so grabbed a quick McDonalds tea with the kids before dropping them off at Grandma’s then went on to drink far too much lager. We both had a stinking hangover on the Saturday so ended up having a full English Breakfast in a cafe and a takeaway in the evening…
This week we are well and truly back on the wagon, it’s back to eating well and counting my syns before the chaos of Christmas hits!
Breakfast has been pretty easy. I’ve been having a Muller light with fruit most days. I really didn’t think this would fill me up but if I’m still peckish I’ll just add more fruit to increase my Speed Foods.
On the mornings when I’m starving, or going to the gym I’ll have something a bit more substantial like scrambled eggs & spinach instead. I never used to really like the texture of spinach but shredding it first makes a difference for me.
This is the one I’ve struggled with. I’ve gotten into the habit of not bothering to cook just for myself, and as I work from home I’ll tend to just snack throughout the day. I’m making sure I have lot’s of lunch options that are super quick, plus lot’s of leftovers in the freezer ready to microwave.
I normally use my Healthy Extra A for my milk for my cups of teas so will include all the syns for the meals below
- Mince Beef Burritos with salad (Using a Weight Watchers wrap as my Healthy Extra B choice & 20g of lighter cheese for 3 syns)
- Paprika chicken with tagliatelle (Syn Free)
- Tuna Pasta Salad (Syn Free)
- Southern-style chicken with SW chips & salad (3 1/2 syns per portion)
- Chicken stir fry (Syn Free)
- Beef Lasagne (Syn Free or 6 Syns if not using the cheese as your Healthy Extra A)
- Cottage Pie with steamed veg for speed food ()
