We love the design, the cloud headboard with the inbuilt night light is such a lovely feature. As soon as Daddy had put the bed together Archie couldn’t resist pressing the button to turn the light on, he loved exploring the new bed. The night light projects onto the wall but isn’t too bright that it disturbs Archie, it’s just enough to help settle him and automatically turns off after 15 minutes.
The neutral colour scheme is great as it will fit in with most décor. Archie’s still in our room until we can save enough to convert the loft for the Teenager so it’s great that it just blends into our current colour scheme. The side table/Mummy’s bedtime story seat can be fitted to either side of the bed to fit the space you have. We’ve even created Archie his own little bedroom area using room divider furniture so look out for that post coming soon.
The bed itself is really low down and has the small side safety rails so we didn’t feel the need for an additional bed rail. Then the first night in his bed Archie ended up on the floor. It didn’t even wake him up so it just shows that he didn’t have far to fall! We obviously had to take a photo before moving him. He must be used to it now as it’s the only time he’s fallen out.
We’re really happy with how he’s settled in his new bed, especially after all the sleep problems we’ve been having with him but hopefully now he has more space and his own little area of the bedroom he’ll continue to make the improvements with his sleep & I can finally stop walking around like a zombie!
