Protein is the new black in food & diet, it keeps you fuller for longer & helps rebuild the muscle after hitting the gym. I’ve been looking at ways to increase my protein since I’ve started working out so was really interested to try Upbeat, especially as it’s not just a protein supplement but also acts as a healthy snack between meals or great as a quick refuel after the gym.

I much prefer the taste of Upbeat to some of the usual ‘protein shakes’ as it tastes natural, almost like a mixture between a smoothie & a yogurt as you can really taste the fruit, even the hubby was impressed and he’s a big fan of protein drinks but normally uses powdered whey protein. It has 20g of protein, less than 150 calories & is low in fat, winner.

I probably wouldn’t include these in my weekly shop as they are a little out of my price range for a daily drink but as an on-the-go snack or a healthy treat I would definitely reach for these again in the shops.

    Have never tried protein shakes but this sounds quite nice – especially as you say it has a more natural taste. Maybe I should give it a try.

      I wouldn’t have them all the time but it’s a really nice drink and really does fill a gap as a snack
