Because of the hubby’s major hayfever, we can’t have fresh cut roses in the house, he sneezes, wheezes, has watery eyes and just gets super irritated. I love fresh flowers so am a little gutted I can’t have them anymore but seeing as I love the hubby I’ll go with it.

Even the scent from a lot of candles trigger his hayfever symptoms so I have to be really careful what I buy, thankfully he’s never had a reaction to my Yankee Candles so when I spotted this beauty in John Lewis I just had to have it, plus it was an essential blogging purchase so I could write this Yankee Candle Fresh Cut Roses Review.

It really does have that beautiful scent of fresh roses, when it’s burning the whole room smells of roses, really floral and fragrant. It’s simply that, just roses but it reminds me of country gardens and little cottages, I know I’m a bit of a romantic at heart. For me it’s a perfect summer fragrance and I love it!

I love Yankee Candles – I always buy the Christmas Cookie one in December and now it truly makes me feel festive. I suppose if you can’t have fresh cut flowers in the house, this is the next best thing. 😉

My friend has got a Yankee Candle OBSESSION. And I’m really not joking — when we last went to stay with him, he’d got 2 giant baskets with about 120 of them in… I was amazed. Don’t get me wrong — I love a scented candle but 120????!! Thanks so much for linking up with #HomeEtc — hope to see you again next week! x
